MC (Methylene chloride)

Methyl chloride is a halogenated, saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon that is a clear, colorless, volatile liquid with an odor similar to ether or chloroform. It is an organochlorine compound with the formula CH2Cl2. Although it is not miscible with water, it is slightly polar, and miscible with many organic solvents. This material is widely used in many metals due to its high solubility and low corrosion.
